Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Aug 21: Hours after the All party delegation claimed to broker peace between the communities at violence hit Kishtwar, BJP has casted an apersion on the claims, terming the peace march that followed negotiations as cosmetic and eye wash. Alleging the initiatives undertaken by the state government of little significance in bridging gap between the two sections of society, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Kishtwar Kishtwar described the peace march led by Medical Education Minister Taj Mohi-ud-din cosmetic and mere an eyewash. The BJP leaders also threatened to lodge an agitation if government failed to concede to their demands including of CBI probe into August 9 clashes. In a press statement, the National Youth Executive Member of party Sunil Sharma termed the peace march led by Medical Education Minister Taj Mohi-ud-din as mere an eyewash and demanded removal of DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani and DySP Farooq Qaser. Demanding CBI probe into August 9, the BJP leader reiterated demand of registration of an FIR against former MoS home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo and DIG Ashkoor Ahmed Wani. He also demanded 25 lakh compensation for the victims, beside job and composition of 25 lakh for family of Arvind Kumar Baghat. |
