Et Report Jammu, Aug 21: J&K Govt Employees and Workers Federation (JKGEWF) held its meeting under the president ship of S Kulwant Singh President of organization in which members showed their anguished over the anti-Employees and anti-workers attitude of the present regime and further asked employees to exhibit unity to make strike on Aug 22-23 a grand success. Addressing the members in this meeting, S Kulwant Singh, Shahid Hussain and others alleged that present coalition government is back tracking from the written agreement made/ signed between the JCC leadership and Govt. Representative on Sep 15 of 2011. During this meeting the representatives JKGEWF highlighted the problems of the government employees including removal of pay anomalies of different Cadres and to declare the policy for regularization of daily rated workers who have completed 7 years of service after 1994. Other demands highlighted on t5he occasion include to settle the grievances of public sector employees, Rehbar-e-Taleem, Anganwari Workers, DA in favour PSU employees, Enhancing retirement age from 58 yrs to 60 yrs and etc. Speakers appealed to all sections of employees, union, associations, federation to remain unite and make two days strike on Aug 22-23 a grand success. They said that further course of action will be decided after in the meeting of JCC leadership.
