| Youth Cong President Udh demands probe on bungling of ration | | |
Kathua, Aug 21: President of Udhampur Doda Lok Sabha of Indian Youth Congress Pankaj Basotra Advocate has demanded a probe the bungling of ration meant for the ration card holders at Billawar for the month of August 2013 as the same has not been provided to the people of the Tehsil. In a press release, he said that the ration which was sent by the CAPD department to the Tehsil Supply Office at Billawar has been distributed among the workers of local M.L.A. and the general public has been deprived for want of ration during the month of August 2013. Basotra further said that to get the publicity the local M.L.A and the Minister of State for Cooperative has distributed the public ration and tents amongst his own workers on the name of relief without assessing the loss of property and other items by the district administration which is a crime and asked the state government to get the investigation from some agency so that the bungling should be checked and the culprits be booked under law. He demanded immediate suspension of the Local Tehsil Supply Officer Billawar. He further said the deserving people who had lost their property and whose houses have been damaged approached him and complained that the Consumer and Public Distribution Department has distributed the ration through Local M.L.A who is happened to be a Minister of State to the persons close to the Minister and whose houses are very much safe and no any loss has been occurred. |
