JAMMU, Aug 21: The state women's teams today left for participation in the 15th sub-junior, 26th junior and 26th senior women's tug of war championships to be held at Rai Barelly in Uttar Pradesh from August 23 to August 26.
The teams left for participation under the banner of J&K Tug of War Association and selected by the penal of selectors during the trials held at Unique Public Higher Secondary School, Gadigarh, here.
The Teams: Sub-junior: Shruti, Sapna, Natalia, Gurleen, Tableen, Sarbjeet, Manpreet, Shriya and Samikaha. Gourav Dubey accompanied as coach.
Junior: Meenu, Taniya, Preeti, Shefali, Neha, Madhu, Suman, Sheetal, Priya. Ankush Badyal accompanied as coach of the team. Senior: Sahibdeep, Manju, Kanchan, Lalita, Anu, Indu, Pooja, Suman, Anupama. Meena Kumari accompanied as coach while Babu Ram Sharma named as manager. |
