Jammu, Sept 4: Residents of Bantalab area today staged protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) for its failure to restore power supply in the area. Faqir Chand Sarpanch while questioning the working of the department said that whether the employees of the department were not efficient or the high officials of the department have some ulterior motives in repairing of transformers. He also added that there was complete black out in the area since one month. Joginder Basin senior citizen blamed junior engineer, Sushil Kumar and lineman Manzoor and Balkrishan for their dual policy. "These officials take money for illegal connections and didn't give proper information to the department", they alleged. |
