Jammu, Sept 4: Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Employees Association today staged protest against state government, for its failure to concede their long pending demands. According to press release, JKAEA president Jasbir Singh Charak said that Director General Accounts and Treasuries and Deputy Director Central have been holding twin posts as per interim arrangement which has severely affecting the smooth functioning of this organization. The association also expressed its deep anguish over delay in regularization of the in-charge, Chief Account's officers, Accounts officers, and Assistant Accounts officers despite lapse of considerable time. Besides promotion orders in favour of those accounts personnel who have passed their mandatory examination have not been issued by the authorities at the helm of affairs despite the fact the sufficient posts are available. The association exhorted the members of accounts service to prepare themselves for launching a forceful protest to achieve their goals as the authorities seem to be reluctant to move the files for the reasons best known to them. |
