Kathua, Sept 4: The official work remained suspended in BDO office Kathua due the ongoing strike of employees. The Patwar Association also came forth in support of agitation here today and demanded the arrest of absconded culprit Sarpanch Dalip Chand.
Meanwhile the spokespersons of employees on strike Kapoor Singh and Shakti Singh showed some flexibility towards their rigid stand when they said that the agitation can be suspended for some time if the administration gives them an assurance of arrest of the culprit. They also urged the police not to take the protest as irrelevant. The employees also chanted the slogans against the Sarpanch and demanded his immediate arrest. |
