'Implement Mandal Commission Report, increase reservation'

Rajouri, Sept 4: Other Backward Classes (OBC) district Body Rajouri has demanded state Government should implement Mandal Commission Report and increase reservation from 2 percent to 27 percent as per other state of India.
In a meeting organised under the chairmanship of Abdul Majeed Qureshi District president OBC Rajouri the demands related to the OBC community of district Rajouri were discussed.
District president Rajouri Abdul Majeed Qureshi stressed that reserve seat in legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, BDC election and should be given to OBC candidates including municipality.
He also stressed that OBC hostel in all district should be opened and issue OBC certificate instead of OSC increase OBC development fund.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Vibodh Jasyal district Vice President , Haji Mohd Shafi Qureshi, Abdul Rashid Shaheen, Porbodh Jasyal, Taj Din,Mohd Bashir, Rafiq Qureshi, Haji Arif, Mehmood and others.
