EJAC holds meeting

Jammu, Sept 4: A meeting of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) was held under its President S Kulwant Singh.
While addressing the meeting, Singh and Shahid Hussain showed their anguish over the 'anti-employees and anti-workers' attitude of the govenment.
"The government is back tracking from the written agreement signed between the JCC leadership and government representative on 15 September 2011," they alleged. The employees are demanding removal of pay anomalies of different cadres, government should declare the policy for regularization of daily rated workers who have completed seven years of service after 1994, should settle the grievances of public sector employees, Rehbar-e-Taleem, Anganwari Workers, regulation of promotion of different cadre and also implement the DA order in favour PSU employees and enhancement of retirement age from 58 Years to 60 years They appealed to all sections of employees, union, associations, federation to remain united and make three days strike on a grand success on September 9, 10 and 11. The further course of action will be decided after 11th Sep 2013 in the meeting of JCC leadership Prominent among those who were present in the meeting included Rohit George, Raju Kumar, Ranjit Singh, Suresh Kumar, S Ravinder Singh, Yash Pal Singh, Shubash Chander, Achit Kumar, S Amrik Singh, Tanvir Singh.
, Balbir Singh, Tilak Raj, Manohar Lal, Kamaljit Singh, Parveen Kumar, Parshotam Lal, Jagmit Singh, Kulesh Kumar, S Manjit Singh, Gaganvir, Manzair Ali, Pal Ram, S Parminder Singh, Naresh Kumar, Mushtaq Ahmed, Raghbir Singh, Naresh Kumar, S Gurbachan Singh, Randev Singh, S Manjit Singh and Ajit Singh.
