Kathua, Sept 10: All the employees of Distt Kathua observed complete strike on the 2nd day and did not resume the work in support of strike call given by state JCC leadership. Addressing the employees Kuldeep Singh Distt president JCC, Manohar Singh Distt President clerical Association, Amar Nath Thakur Provincial president school education employees co-ordination committee Jammu, Surinder Mehta gen secy JCC unit Kathua Distt president JKTF, S. Puran Singh Distt president JKTF and Updesh Singh Member JCC criticized the J&K Govt for cane charging, and arresting the peacefully protesting employees at Srinagar. All the leaders told the employees that this is a do or die battle and Government must full fill its promise and implement the agreement. They said that the Government must issue the SRO regarding agreement immediately otherwise employees will intensify the strike the responsibility of which would lie on the State Government as the government is not implementing the agreement. They said that the state Government has befooled and deceived the employees by doing the agreement on 8th of July 2012. Earlier a team of the leaders of JCC led by Kuldeep Singh visited all the offices of district head quarter and where the strike was already is going on and all were sat on dharna. The leaders appealed the employees to remain united and support the three days strike to force the state government to implement the agreement reached between high power committee and JCC leaders on 8th of July on 2012.
