Inspector General Police ( Kashmir) AG Mir said that a full fledged Investigation is on to unravel the truth and circumstances that led to the Incident. "Our aim is to bring out all the facts and also make them public. We have to investigate if CRPF has followed the SOP when the militant opened fire at naka party. We have already made it public that three local youth had no previous record of militancy against their name," he said. "Having said that we will also have to investigate under what circumstances they were accompanying a Pakistani militant on motor bike when the incident took place. We are collecting all the circumstantial evidences and a fool proof investigation will be carried out which will be shared with the public," the IGP added. Meanwhile there were reports of some unknown persons damaging vehicles in Pinglena area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday night. Reports said that some masked men appeared in Pinglena area around 11 in night and smashed the vehicles randomly that were plying on the road. However, police dismissed the reports and said that these are all rumors. Meanwhile protests continued in some parts of the Shopian. The protesters were demanding that the CRPF camp be removed from the area. "This CRPF Camp is proving lethal for our youth and it should be removed without any delay," they said. Meanwhile curfew continued for the third day on Monday in Shopian town where four people were killed by security forces on Saturday, authorities said. Shops, educational institutions and banks remained closed for the third day, and private and public transport were off the roads in the town as police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in riot gear patrolled the town to maintain law and order. Businesses and transport also remained closed in the adjacent Pulwama town for the third day on Monday. The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and separatist groups said all the slain people were unarmed civilians.
