| Safai Karamcharis highlight demands | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 10: Safai Karamchari Union of Municipal Council Kathua today held protest against Municipal Council for their long pending including immediate release of salaries, regularization of daily wagers and filling off vacant posts of Safai Karamcharis.
While condemning the callous attitude of the Director Local Bodies towards the Safai Karamcharis the president of the Union, Sawan Chidda said that Safai Karamcharis have been struggling for the rights since long and mid of the struggles many assurance and promises were received from the government and department of Local Body in connection of redressal of the problems but all turned as futile and scrap and forced the Union to restart its struggle by launching the agitation.
He warned to continue the agitations till the demands are not sorted out and the government will be responsible for any dire consequences. |
