| AEO Rajouri to open seed store at Doongi | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Sept 10: In an effort to increase agri-production, the Agriculture Extension Office (AEO) Rajouri has decided to open a seed store in Doongi block which will enable the people to procure seeds at their door steps.
Farmers of Doongi block were demanding opening of seed store in the area so as to enable them to have an easy access to the inputs provided by the Department of Agriculture.
Agriculture Extension officer, Doongi informed that a seed store has been opened at community hall at Doongi and all the inputs like seeds, implements and some other necessities of the farmers shall be available in the store.
He appealed to the farmers of the region to make full use of this store and purchase seeds and other implements as and when available.
Farmers of the region hailed this effort of the department and thanked Director Agriculture and other officials of the department for paying heed to their demand. |
