Bhaderwah, Sept 10: To lodge their protest against the shifting of the Sub District Hospital, Bhaderwah, from the heart of the town to 5 km away at Dandi, Bhaderwah Hospital Bacho Front (BHBF) held sit in and chalk out strategy to tackle this situation.
The participants in the meet highlighted demands like up-graduation of new hospital at Dandi on the pattern of GMC / SKIMS and re-opening of the old hospital at its old location in the town. Leaders from various political parties, members of civil society, students, youth, farmers, trade union leaders and large number of people participated in the meet to extend their support to the cause.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranbhir Singh Manhas, convener of the Front, lashed out at the state government and administration for its failure on all fronts especially in mitigating the burning problem of reopening of hospital at its old location and up graduation of the new hospital at Dandi. |
