Jammu, Sept 10: Activists of National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today felicitated Prof Mohammad Iqbal Kohli, Principal ITI College , canal Road Jammu for his honesty and meritorious services.
Kohli is known for his dedication towards his duty, honesty and to maintain student-teachers friendly atmosphere in the college.
Activists presented memento to the Principal and believed that Kohli will continue his dedication with same zeal and enthusiasm for improving the education system with his efforts.
Congratulating the Principal for their wonderful work, Partap Singh (State President NPSU) said, "In this fast changing world, teachers need to equip themselves with latest electronic tools, but they should also enable students to discover their hidden talent, to develop inter-personal skills and subject matter expertise", Singh said.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Sharma, another activist of NPSU spoke about the importance of teachers in the life of a child. He remarked that moving from the era of teaching, we are now in the era of learning and that we must think of ways through which we can make our children learn more. He added that the strength of learning is more important than the strength of teaching.
Nitish Sharma, Avinash Sethi, Jugal Smile Sharma, Dalbir Singh Chib etc were others who were present on the occasion.
