| Medical Staff of DH Kathua holds token protest | | | Kathua, Sept 10: Medical Staff of District Hospital Kathua today held a brief protest demonstration against Health Department in support of their demands of filling up of vacant posts in the hospital. The staff suspended the functioning of emergency from 8am to 9am in order to register their protest and urged the state government to full fill the vacant posts of medical assistant and doctors which have been lying vacant since long and its consequences are faced by the medical staff at district hospital Kathua.
The demonstration was outcome of an incident when a family held protest on the death of their newly born child. The medical staff members said that it is sad and it is a deep grief that a child was died but he was not died due to the negligence of the staff, he died of due to some biological problem which were developed naturally, but the family members are started to express their resentment over the staff. |
