Jammu, Sept 10: The school campus of IPS (KIDZEE) became abuzz with colours and excitement when an Interschool Poster Making Competition was organized. Around 50 participants from 8 schools classes 1st to 7th participated using different mediums like water colour ,acrylic ,oil pastels and waste material. The Principal Mili R.Sumbria ,all faculty members and students welcomed the Chief Guest Dr. Naetar Singh (Principal) Govt. Degree College (Kathua) ,Tajinder Kour (Educationist); Guest of Honours Narinder Singh Samyal ( D.E.P.O) , Aruna Sharma (Principal) GHSS,Forlein graced the occasion.
Three themes were taken up in 3 groups by different classes that included Patriotism, Global Warming and Save Girl Child.
The schools which participated in the competition were KPS Barnoti , D.P.S Rajbagh , IPS (KIDZEE) , Eurokids, KV Kathua and D.A.V Colligiate. winners of the competition in different themeswere
Sanchit and Swayamjeet, Anubhav and Priyadarshini, Riya, Shreeanshi & Harshit, Aira Choudhary & Tanishq Kumar, Paras & Sushant, Akshita Bawa & Anjali Sharma, Arushi & Simran, Gracy Pangotra & Vatsal Arya. At last all winners were awarded with prizes and certificates from the Chief Guest and Guest of Honours . The function was attended by Anu Dogra Chairperson of the school, Tajinder Kour , Bharti Sharma Coordinator of the school , Romy Kumar, Miss Rosy and faculty members of various institutions were also present.
The Principal , Mili R. Sumbria said that the main objective of the function was to bring fore the hidden artist inside the children and to provide a platform for the children to interact with each other with spirit of healthy competition. As competitions like these ensures holistic development of the child. Bharti Sharma (Coordinator) extended the vote of thanks to all Guests present on this occasion. |
