Doda, Sept 26: A meeting held under the chairmanship of Barket Ali, National Secular Forum Sr.Vice- President in college premises, the problems being faced by the students were discussed besides framing a body for college unit. Mosheim Hussain was elected as a president, Vikar Hussain as Sr Vice President, Sachin Singh elected as Vice-President, Toheed Butt as general secretary, Tanver Ahmed, Abrar Hussain and Mohd.Yousaf were elected as secretaries, Altaf Hussain as a press secretary, Nishad Ahmed as casher, Parvaiz Qadir as convener, Mushaid Mirza, Narayan, Balgeet Singh, as members.
Barket Ali welcomed the new joining and assured NSF will address the grievances of students and will stand its forum on the strong pillars of secularism.
He further added that forum is non political, non religious and nongovernmental organization which will work for poor and weaker sections of a society in general and student community in particular. |
