| Postponement of 'Class XII examination' demanded | | | Et Report Kishtwar, Sept 26: Students of Class XII from Kishtwar District of Jammu region today have demanded postponement of examination that are scheduled from October 26. The students raising the demand said that due to continue curfew and closers of school due to prevailing communal tension in Kishtwar, besides due to continuous spat of earthquakes in the area, the students suffered in their studies as the schools remains closed for more than two months in Kishtwar District. The students demanded postponement of examination at least by one month as they maintain that their studies got affected due to curfew after Kishtwar riots and earthquakes. They added that they have yet to complete their syllabus. They said that the J and K State Board of School Education must immediately decide postponement of exams so that the students from Kishtwar district could get syllabus completed. They said practical examination for medical and non medical streams is also starting from first week of October while practical also required time for preparation |
