Jammu, Oct 27: Promoting initiative conservation of ecology and environment, the Indian Council for Enviro-Legal Action (ICELA) will organize 'JD Singh Raju Memorial State level Symposium' every year.
As per press release, the competitions for this purpose will be held inter zone, inter district and at provincial level symposia for students and arrange state level competitions for " J.D. Singh Memorial ICELA Rolling Trophy" on 26th of October every year.
The decision to this effect was taken at Shardangli Samaroh organized on the 2nd death anniversary of late JD Singh Raju founder member of ICELA, an environmental activist and renowned social worker of Jammu held under the chairmanship of Dr. J.L. Gupta former Director Sheep Husbandry.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Naresh Sharma, Dr. YP Sawhney, Thakur Singh, Vinod Sharma and Dr. Yash Paul Sharma. |
