| Tehsildar among 3 suspended for land encroachment | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 27: Three Revenue officials including a Tehsildar and two Naib- Tehsildars were suspended for their alleged involvement in the encroachment of state land at Udhampur.
DC Udhampur Yasha Mudgal when contacted confirming the reports said that the three officials were suspended following their alleged involvement in land encroachment. She further said that Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Udhampur has been entrusted the job of inquiry in this connection.
Sources within department informed that three Revenue officials were hand in glove with the local contractor for encroachment of state land situated at village Mali in Tikri. DC Udhampur on receiving the complaint suspended the trio and ordered inquiry. They would be booked under relevant sections if found guilty. |
