| Mock drill conducted | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 27: In order to counter any odd situation or to meet any eventuality for public security point of view, a joint mock drill was conducted by security forces comprising Jammu-Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF at Kathua town here today.
The police had erected concertina wires at Shaheedi Chowk kathua on the occasion.
The drill was carried out under the supervision of S.P Kathua Mohan Lal who said that it is the part of training programme which is to strengthen the equipping of the forces with complete confidence fightining the actual odd and emergency situation.
He further said that drill was only the routine rehearsal practice for the police and paramilitary personnel to train them to counter any untoward event. On the occasion there was no traffic disruption while the business functioned normally. |
