Accession shows J&K state "inseparable and integral part" of India: NPSU

Kathua, Oct 27: Jammu-Kashmir National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today celebrated accession of the state to India in 1947, at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park here today. A large number of activists of NPSU gathered at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park and celebrated the anniversary on the state's integration with India with great pomp and show. While speaking on the occasion NPSU's district president Shaheed Aizaj said that on October 26, the day Maharaja Hari Singh signed the instrument of accession on October 26, 1947," and said since then JK has become the integral part of India. He said that the accession shows that Jammu and Kashmir is an "inseparable and integral part" of India. Asserting that the finality of accession with India cannot be challenged, they said that Article 3 of the State Constitution which says "Jammu and Kashmir is and shall remain an integral part of India.
