| BFDC holds meeting at RS Pura, demands constitution of Shrine Board | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 27: Continuing its campaign on constitution of Shrine Board/Local Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple, Bahu Fort Jammu, Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) held meeting at Kadyal RS Pura. Rajeev Charak - President BFDC was the chief guest. Hardesh Kumar Khokher - Vice President BFDC, Ishant Gupta - Spokesman BFDC and Naresh Kumar - Secretary BFDC was the guest of honours.
While speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Charak said that we are not going to stop our agitation unless State Government and Governor of J&K State fulfilled our demand for constituting Shrine Board/Local Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple Bahu Fort. He said that the Government will have to take some steps against the priests of the temple. He said the priests of the temple become so commercialize and misuse/gold offered by devotees in the open market just for their financial greed.
He added that the Government will issue white paper and give reason that why they are hesitating to constitute Shrine Board/Local Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple Bahu Fort Jammu though they will constitute Board for Mata BalaSundari and also for Mata Sukrala. While on the occasion, Hardesh Kumar Khokher - Vice President BFDC said that as after the constitution of Shrine Board for Mata Vaishno Devi there is a vast development on the name of Mata Vaishno Devi in the area. The Shrine Board Constructed Colleges and Hospitals on the name of Mata Vaishno Devi but on the other hand all such development works are lacked in the area of Bahu Fort, he added. |
