| Daylong symposium organized in Poonch | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Oct 27: A daylong symposium on the topic "Impact of Cultural and Political Division of Poonch on the Syche of Poonchis" was organized today at Dakbunglow Poonch. The programme was organized by Syed Zeshan Haider. In which number of speakers deliberated on the topic. All prominent citizen of area were invited in the programme to share their views for the Development of Poonch. Syed Zeshan Haider, while addressing urged youth of the area to contribute for the overall development of the area. He took suggestions, from the audiences and appealed the masses of area to be aware of anti social elements who have always tried to create divisions on the basis of religion, culture and languages for their selfish interests. Meanwhile he highlighted their demands including up-gradation of Degree College Poonch to PG level, Establishment of Pahari and Gojri Research Centers at Jammu University, opening of Agricultural and Horticultural Universities at Poonch, Medical College at Poonch, handover the supervision of Historical monuments of Poonch to Archaeological Survey of India, Engagement of required Doctors in District Hospital Poonch, to Provide adequate staff in the Polytechnic College Poonch and to make Jammu University Poonch Campus functional at the earliest in the interest of Right Equality and Justice. |
