| 'Haider' crew lands in Valley, starts shooting at 'Green Tunnel' | | | Early Times Report Anantnag, Nov 12: Continuing its shooting schedule that started from Last Saturday, Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider' Bollywood movie crew today arrived in South Kashmir's Sangam area and shot some romantic scenes in the famous Green Tunnel known for its panoramic views. The scenic and panoramic natural landscaping has always been a lure to the Bollywood, while its hospitality too has been another bait to the Bollywood before the emergence of insurgency in Valley. A large number of people from the Bijbehara town and its surrounding habitations rushed to the famous Green Tunnel just to get a glimpse of cast of the movie including Bollywood celebrities Shahid Kapoor and Shardha Kapoor who are in the lead roles in the movie 'Haider' being directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Reports said that after completing shooting in Aishmuqam, film crew today arrived in Sangam and started shooting few romantic and passionate scenes on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway at 'Green tunnel', a spot acknowledged for its natural beauty i.e. lofty tress on either side of the road. According to reports shooting of the movie today including lead actors walking all along the road and some of their passionate scenes on road side in panoramic view of snow-clad mountains in the background with avenue of tall trees standing in forefront continued for at least 2 hours. The district administration has made adequate security arrangements while traffic police though had tough time but managed to regulate the traffic during the shooting hours. However the photo journalists of various media houses were barred from clicking shots during the shooting of scenes. Here it needs to mention that atleast 20 Kashmiri artists including a 13 year old boy too are the part of the cast in some different roles in this Bollywood movie. The film, is an adaptation of Shakespeare's play Hamlet, is expected to hit the screen next year i.e. 2014. |
