Owner of 'Pahalwan Di Hatti' booked for assault

JAMMU, Nov 12: Satish Chander, owner of the famous 'Pahalwan Di Hatti' was booked by Gandhinagar police after he assaulted a customer following a verbal duel between the two. An FIR u/s 323,341 and 34 RPC has been registered against the accused.
As per reports, one Jagdev Singh son of Nama Singh of Narwal during parking his vehicle bearing registration number JK02AP/1119 in front of the sweet shop entered into verbal brawl with Satish Chander. The situation turned ugly, when Satish assaulted him with fists and blows.
Police after receiving information about the incident, rushed to the spot and took both the persons in their custody. Later, some people of Sikh community held protest demonstration against the shop owner and expressed their resentment before the senior officers of police. Police, later based on the medical report of the victim lodge FIR against Satish.
