Jammu, Nov 12: A meeting of the Branch Managers of the Ellaquai Dehati Bank of Region III was held at Regional Office, Region III, Jammu, today to monitor the progress of cases submitted to Pre Lok Adalat held on 9th November, 2013.
The meeting was presided over by A. K Razdan, chairman of the Bank. He stressed the need for educating defaulting borrowers to take advantage of bank's one time settlement scheme and settlement of cases in Lok Adalat.
He clarified that the settlement scheme is applicable to cases which are pending in courts and or where the legal action is contemplated. He also informed that one more session of Pre- Lok Adalat is being held on 18th November, 2013 and requested the borrowers to come forward for settlement of their cases in a big way. |
