| Gupta inaugurates Community Hall in Bhagwati Nagar | | |

Jammu, Nov 12: Former Union Minister and MLA, Jammu West Chaman Lal Gupta today inaugurated the newly constructed Community Hall in Bhagwati Nagar, Ward No. 14 of Jammu West Constituency. The hall has been constructed at the cost of Rs. 28.00 lakh by Jammu Municipal Corporation on recommendations of Prof. Gupta. JKDF State President Anil Gupta was among the prominent persons present during the inauguration of the Community hall.
The hall has been inaugurated in presence of Management committee of Hall, local residents , senior citizens and officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation. Speaking on the occasion Gupta said, " One of the long pending demand of people has been fulfilled . This Community Hall shall cater the needs of people particularly poor ones who could not afford costly accommodation for performing their social and religious rituals. It will be our endeavor to provide such facilities in other wards of Jammu West where it is required."
While addressing the gathering Anil Gupta said, "The foremost preference is the development and betterment of Ward residents. Every possible effort is being made to mitigate the problems of Ward and people of the area. Various Developmental activities on public demand is being carried over in different wards of Jammu West Constituency by M.L.A Chaman Lal Gupta on request of JKDF."
Hopefully all the pending works shall be completed in a few months time."
"Various works like black topping of roads, construction of lanes , drains and electrical maintenance has been carried out in various wards on initiative of JKDF. No other previous member has ever made the such developments in the Jammu West Constituency as Chaman Lal Gupta did along with active participation of JKDF in developmental activities.
JKDF has become the voice and popular platform of people where the genuine and logical demands of people shall be projected and highlighted," said Anil Gupta.
Senior citizens and management committee of community Hall and local residents expressed their gratitude to Anil Gupta and Chaman Lal Gupta for their initiatives of carrying out developmental activities in Ward No. 14.
They thanked Anil Gupta for his personal interest in monitoring the completion work of the Hall. |
