Traffic defaulters fined

Jammu, Nov 19: In order to tighten the noose of erring defaulters, Traffic Magistrate in purview of its power vested today laid a naka enroute towards Ampbhalla area and challaned vehicles vis-a-vis overloading menace, violation of uniforms and lacking documents related to vehicles etc.
With Traffic menace, congestion increasing day by day and "Darbar move" ahead and with the addition of 30000-40000 vehicles traffic mess in Jammu outskirts compounded the miseries of masses.
Sources said Due to naka laid by Magistrate the passengers faced hardships due to delay in reaching their respective destination. Matadors drivers got infuriated over the challans and they changed their respective routes in order to save from magistrate naka.
One of the passengers said" Matador in which we are travelling is overloaded but as they reached near ambphalla the driver told us to drop here because Judge was standing above and the both driver conductor were not wearing uniforms, "he rued.
