| PHEWWA appeal Government to concede their long pending demands | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 19: PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEPWWA) has appealed all daily wagers to remain prepare for an agitation if the government would fail to fulfill their long pending demands. According to press release, a meeting of daily wagers and need base employees of PHE department was held today at Rajouri which was attended by Union's provincial president and general secretary. The meeting was organised by Manzoor Dar district general secretary and was attended by more than 130 delegates from other parts of the district. Bakhshi Singh provincial president PHE workers Welfare Association (PHEPWWA) presided over the meeting and addressed the delegates to prepare the employees for an agitation if the government failed to fulfill their long pending demands. Employees have been demanding cancellation of the list of recently appointed need base employees as they alleged that DPCs of the need base employees already serving the department for the last more than 7 years have been deliberately ignored by some officials and new recruitments were made. They are demanding to convert need base employees as daily wagers who have completed more than seven years as need base employees. They also demanding cancellation of these back doors appointments as was directed by the Court. |
