| Sadbhavana tour for DIET Leh teachers organized | | |

Jammu, Nov 19: As part of 'Sadbhavana' project, Educational cum Motivational tours are routinely organised by the 'Fire and Fury' Corps.
The aim of these tours is to bring about awareness in the local populace on the developmental trends taking place in the national mainstream.
One such tour for the local teachers of Ladakh was flagged off on 18 November 2013 at Leh. The tour comprised of a team of 30 teachers of the District Institute of Education and Training, Leh (c). The team departed from Leh to New Delhi by flight and will be visiting various centres of learning in New Delhi and Dharamshala.
The team will attend a three days workshop organised by TCV School at Dharamshala. This will be followed by visit to Delhi where in the team will interact with officials of NCERT Delhi and undergo a training capsule of nine days duration. The entire duration of the tour is 20 days. The tour is aimed at giving an exposure to teachers about the various facets of education training.
Interaction with their peers at different locations will enrich the participant teachers with the latest trends in teaching. It will enable the teachers to imbibe modern teaching trends in DIET and other educational institution in Ladakh.Overall, the tour is aimed at uplifting the educational standards of various educational institutions in Ladakh and bringing them at par with the National mainstream. |
