Bani, Nov 19: Residents of Bani today criticized the local administration against the mal-functioning and unhygienic conditions of Anganwaris of the areas. While expressing the strong resentment against the administration over the deteriorating conditions of Aganwaris, Naib Sarpanch Rolka Billu Ram, Mohamad Husain, Sirajdin Bhat, Maya Ram, and Nissar Ahmad, said that from infant mortality to immunization, from pre-school education to women's health, the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) has defeated its aims and objectives. They further said that Aganwari centers in Kolanga and Challaa of Panchayat Roulka and an Aganwari Centre in village Shaly of Panchayat Loang have always been found closed and no inspection from the administration had been carried out physically so far. They said we made number of complainants with the administration in this regard but no action has been taken till date.
They said that CDPO has never been seen in Bani area to conduct the inspection of these Aganwaris. |
