Sandeep bhat Jammu, Mar 10: Although the state BJP leadership is watching developments on central leadership's decision on Nirmal Singh, the former state president today received a call from Delhi inviting him to put forth his case. Nirmal, it may be mentioned has been denied a party ticket to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Nirmal Singh has been assured a better deal by the central leadership in the interest of party. He, however, seems adamant on his stand and has expressed anger over denial of party mandate to him. Talking to early times, Mamta Singh senior BJP women leader and wife of Dr.Nirmal Singh said that he is very much in Jammu and in constant touch with his followers and party cadre. Every day hundreds of people meet him and express their support to him. Some have even suggested contesting elections as an independent candidate, she said. She, however, denied that Singh was planning to leave BJP. "He has not indulged in anti-party activities either. He is leaving for Delhi tomorrow for talks with the central leadership," she said. On consultation with Avinash Rai Khanna north India Prabari of BJP, she said nothing positive has come from his side. "We are watching the developments. We will not do anything to sent wrong signals," she added. .
