Early Times Report Jammu, May 23 : Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Federation today held a meeting under the Presidentship of Kulwant Singh showed the anguish over the anti-employees and anti-workers attitude of the government. Speaking in the meeting, Kulwant Singh said the government is not serious towards its employees. It is unfortunate that the employees in general and in handicrafts department in particular working under new pension scheme are without salary which creates hardships during such an era of price hike. He also highlighted the demands including rupees one thousand medical allowance instead of Rs. 300 in favour of employees, regularization of daily wagers in different departments who have completed 7 Years of services, release the salary of ReT Teachers working under SSA who are working without salary for many months, release of dearness allowance in favour of employees which is due from 1st Jan 2014. J&K Govt. employees and workers federation unanimously decided to visit all districts of the state and educate and prepare the employees to launch a decisive struggle in near future for the redressal of their grievances.
