Jammu, May 23 : Crime Branch, Jammu has registered a case FIR No. 09/2014 u/s 420,465, 467,468,471,120-B RPC against Abdul Rashid Pandit S/o Habib Ullah R/o Handipora, Rafiabad Asthan Mohallah, Baramulla P/S Bittergam, Mudasir Nabi Teli S/o Ghulam Nabi Teli R/o Mansooa Tehsil Pattan District Baramulla P/S Pattan, Mehraj Din S/o Abdul Gani Sheikh R/o Mughal Mohalla, Karan Nagar, Srinagar, Zahoor Ahmed Bhat S/o Mohammad Maqbool R/o Fatehpora, Baramulla, Farooq Ahmed Dar R/o Hamrai Pattan, Baramulla, Fayaz Ahmed Bhat R/o Handwara, Baramulla, Irshad Ahmed Dar R/o Harai, Pattan Baramulla and Manzoor Ahmed Ganie R/o Sherpora Pattan, Baramulla for cheating and inducing the complainant and other similar persons of an amount of `1.00 Cr on the pretext of providing them jobs. A complaint duly endorsed by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu with the direction to investigate the matter under law, was received in Crime Branch, Jammu wherein the complainant Mohammad Ayoob Milu S/o Mohammad Azam, R/o Sangla Tehsil Surankote District Poonch at present Christian Colony, Jammu had alleged that the accused persons met him and one Ghulam Hussain S/o Mohammad Ayoob R/o Arai Tehsil Mandi District Poonch and Mushtaq Ahmed S/o Mohammad Shafi R/o Sangla Tehsil Surankote, Poonch at Jammu on 24.11.2012 and introduced themselves as respectable and influential persons and said that some candidates are required for the post of Class-IV in Kashmir for which necessary arrangements can be made by them subject to payment of money. In this regard they also showed some appointment orders of various candidates in order to gain confidence of the complainant. On this allurement the complainant, who wanted his relatives to be appointed against these posts paid an amount of `5.00 lacs to the accused persons on the assurance that five persons shall be engaged as Class-IV in different departments. Similarly, an amount of `2.00 lac & `2.50 lac was also paid by Ghulam Hussain and Mushtaq Ahmed to the above mentioned accused persons, it was found that accused persons were nothing but cheats who had duped the complainant and other similar persons of an amount of `1.00 Crores on the pretext of providing them jobs and that all the appointment orders shown/provided by the accused persons were fake, forged and fabricated. |
