| Speedy truck hits Cop, driver held | | | udhampur, May 23:Jammu & Kashmir Police Constable was injured when he was hit by a speeding truck near Kud Tehsil of Chenani in District Udhampur, police sources said. The Police has arrested the accused truck driver.
The injured identified as Mohd Rafiq JKP Constable No. 816U, police sources said. According to the police report a truck bearing regd no: JK02AT-5337 hit a Police Constable on duty at Kud. Meantime acting swiftly locals took the injured to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chenani in Udhampur District. The police have seized the vehicle while driver identified namely as Jeet Singh s/o of Mani Ram of Reasi District has been arrested.
Chenani Police registered the case and further investigation going on. |
