Jammu, May 23: The Investiture ceremony of Junior Wing of KC Public School was held for the session 2014-2015 today. The auspicious ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp signifying new beginnings, new hopes and new aspirations. Amarendra Mishra, the Principal of the school welcomed the parents. Congratulating the students for getting the coveted positions on the School Council, he motivated and encouraged them to dream big and aspire to achieve their goals. The badges were given away by Sofia Rana, the Headmistress of the school amidst thunderous applause. Smiling and jubilant, the new appointees were then administered the oath of office.
A short cultural programme was also presented on the occasion. The exotic Palestinian 'Dabka Dance' and Scottish Ballet mesmerized the audience with their hypnotic beats.
The Head Girl Kibriya and the, Head Boy Samarth recited poems on leadership highlighting that a leader knows his/her limitations and celebrates the gifts of others and values everyone's output.
