| Jammu, Oct 14: In a bid to encroach upon the prime land of Jammu Development Authority (JDA), one Shama-ud-din s/o Noor Mai of Majeen prepared fake NOC, signed by JDA Chairman, however, his nefarious design was foiled when Crime Branch booked him on the complaint of the JDA authorities. Crime Branch booked him under section 420,465,466,467, 467, 468,471,120 B RPC under FIR No 22/2014 and started investigation. As per Crime Branch handout, the accused along with some other criminal elements had in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy, dishonestly and fraudulently prepared fake NOC in order to encroach upon and grab the JDA land illegally thereby cheating the JDA in order to cause wrongful gains to himself and wrongful loss to the state. The complaint in this connection was lodged by Director Land Management, JDA , Jammu in which he was alleged that forged NOC purportedly signed by the Chairman, JDA, Jammu has been prepared and used by Shama-ud-din in respect of land measuring 30 kanals 13 marlas falling under khasra No 167 of village Majeen, Jammu whereas, the said land has been acquired under the draft award dated 22.07.1995 by the JDA for the development of satellite township at Sidhra and that no such NOC has been issued this office. |
