2 -day workshop on Arts Integrated Learning concludes

Jammu, Oct 14: A two-day non-residential workshop for improving quality education in the J&K state through Arts Integrated Learning (AIL) and child participation, concluded at K L Sehgal Hall, Academy of Art, Culture & Languages Canal Road here today. The workshop was organized by Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Kashmir Chapter in association with J&K School Education Department and Sir Dorab Ji Tata Trust (SDTT) Mumbai.
During the workshop, which commenced on October 13, the participants were introduced to Theatre exercises, meditation and story discussion and fun with mathematics besides this Art film was also screened. During the workshop, Altaf Hussain, Project Co-ordinator, SDTT, Vijay Goswami, Theatre Artist were the Resource person while Liaison Officer Raman Chopra and Ravi Kumar Sharma co-ordinated the workshop. Twenty two teachers from 14 educational zones of Jammu district participated in the workshop.
