| After court directions, four booked including local BJP leader | | | Kathua, Oct 14: Following direction of local court Billawar police booked four persons including block president of BJP, Billawar for allegedly misbehaved with a family over construction of a pathway. According to police sources, "One girl complainant (name withheld) approached the court alleging therein that four persons including Kuldeep Abrol, Block President of BJP, Billawar, ND Tripathi who also claimed contesting MLA candidate of Billawar constituency, Shouri Lal, a contractor and his accomplice Mohan Lal misbehaved with her parents over arguments with them against road construction. Police sources quoting the complainant said, "The complainant in her complaint also has alleged that the accused also tried to forcefully drag her in their vehicle but could not succeed." Sources said that following court directions, the Billawar police registered a case against FIR 146/14 u/s 342, 323, 504 and 506 against accused and started further investigations.
They however added no arrest has been made till last reports came in. |
