Kathua, Oct 14: Four more trucks carrying flood relief material have been sent by Chenab Textile Mills (CTM) today, which were flagged off by Prasanna Ramaswamy IAS, Addiitional DC, Kathua.
Two trucks carrying 5000 blankets each, i.e. 10,000 blankets dispatched to Divisional Commissioner Srinagar and one truck carrying medicines were dispatched today to Registrar, Deptt of Medicines, SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. One truck carrying 1000 blankets and 1000 GI roofing sheets for reconstruction of houses have been sent to Deputy Commissioner, Reasi. So far items worth more than Rs.50 lakh have been dispatched to areas where floods have caused extensive damages. |
