IAF celebrates 82nd anniversary 10/14/2014 11:33:10 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 14: As a part of the weeklong celebrations of 82nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF), a grand cultural evening was organized at Air Force Station. Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal, VM Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Air Force Station Jammu was the Chief Guest at the function. The function commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Sandhya Singh and the customary Saraswati Vandana by students of the local Air Force School. The cultural programme unfolded thereafter weaving a rich cultural tapestry reflecting the spirit of patriotism. The inspirational cultural programme entertained the audience and left them spell bound. The various items performed by various personnel of Air Force Station Jammu, family members of air warriors and students of the Air Force School was witnessed and enjoyed by an over whelming crowd of more than 1000 persons of the station.
