Jammu, Oct 14: J&K Government Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) urged upon the Chief Minister Omar Abdulla that before imposing the model code of conduct in the state due to Assembly election, release 17% DA in favour of State Government Employees. According to press release, a meeting of EJAC was held at Jammu under the presidium of Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Balwinder Singh, Dharminder Singh, N S Jamwal, Ravinder Singh, Rajinder Gupta and Rajinder Kumr. In the meeting it was urged upon the Chief Minister, 17 percent of DA was due from January and July 2014 besides other demands were already in the agreement held with J&K Government EJCC on September 15, 2011. "Regularisation of all C/L, DRW, Adhoc, Contractual and Consolidated who were engaged before, after 1994 in different Department and are continue working, Removal of Pay disparity in pre revised Pay Scale 6500-200-10500 and Clerical Staff, Additional Budgetary support to such PSU who have not their own resources, Enhancement of Medical Allowance,from Rs.300 to Rs.1000", the EJAC demanded. |
