SDP criticizes change of academic session in flood-hit areas | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 14: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) senior leader Engineer Ghulam Hassan Rather criticized the government decision of changing the academic session in Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu with shifting of examinations from November to March session. Party leader said that SDP supports the agitation of the J&K Private Schools Association who has threatened to go to court if the government does not revoke the cabinet decision of conducting Annual examinations of all classes in March instead of November-December. "The syllabus in all government and private schools has been completed and the shifting of the examination session to March will only waste the precious time of the students, said Engineer Ghulam Hassan. He demanded that the decision of the cabinet be revoked immediately in the interest of the student community. Engineer Hassan said that this decision has dejected the parents of the children who have been badly affected by this decision. |
