Rajouri, Jan 5: Arrangements for celebrations of Republic Day were discussed at a meeting of district officers convened here today under the chairman ship of District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Jatindra Kumar Singh (IAS) at conference Hall Dakbanglow Rajouri. Among others Additional District Development Commissioner, Vir ji Hangloo, Additional development Commissioner, Saleem Malik, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr. Haseeb Mughal, Assistant Commissioner (Rev) S S Sambyal, CEO, ARTO, ACD, District Information Officer, Ashima Iqbal Mirza, Principal P G College Rajouri, Executive Engineers PWD (R&B), PHE, PDD, seniors officers of Army, BSF, heads of the private institution were present in the meeting.
As decided in the meeting the celebration of the R-Day will be started with the playing of Shehnai Vadan by the District Information Centre Rajouri in the wee hours of the day. The main function will be held in the premises of District Police Line, Rajouri where the VIP would unfurl the National Flag and take Salute from the ceremonial parade comprising the contingents. |
