Jammu, Jan 5: Gandhi Nagar police arrested two absconding youth involved in the stabbing case that took place five days ago in Nanak Nagar area. From possession of the accused, police recovered a revolver and accordingly police booked them u/s 341,323,428,436/21 Arms Act against FIR No 300/2014.
They have been identified as Jaspreet Singh alias Tina s/o Gyani Kulwant Singh of sector No 6, Nanak Nagar and Harvinder Singh alias Babu. Police recovered revolver from Jaspreet Singh ,issued by the DC Mendhar . Police is investigating the authenticity of the license.
Pertinently, on 30 December, the duo stabbed on one Tarlochan Singh in Nanak Nagar over trivieal issue and after leaving him in a pool of blood, they rushed from the spot. The victim was later rushed to the GMC hospital for advance treatment.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer when contacted said that police is also recommending PSA against duo accused keeping in view their past criminal background. |
