| Burglars looted 4 shops, locals stage protest against police | | | Early Timers Report
Jammu, Jan 5: Some unidentified burglars looted property of worth in lakhs from four shops at Muthi following which the locals along with victims staged protest demonstration against police, demanding immediate arrest of burglars. Police sources said that the victims have been identified as Ravinder Kumar son of Budha Ram who owned ready garments shop, Mukesh Khajuria son of Amarnath who owned cosmetic shop, Subash Chand son of Lucky Ram and Parshoutam Lal son of Thodu Ram, they both owned Karyana stores. As per sources, the victims in the morning noticed the locks of shop were broken and their articles as well as cash were stolen. "The victim shouted slogans against police department and alleged that due apathetic attitude adopted by police such incidents happened across Jammu region", said sources. They demand that police should increase its vigil across the rural areas and the culprits should be put behind the bars. Meanwhile, senior police official and Superintended of Police (SP) Rural immediately rushed to the spot and pacify the protesters by assuring the burglars should be nabbed at earliest.
Police said that a case has been registered and haunt is launched to nab burglars. |
