Jammu, Feb 7: Rich Harvest School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu celebrated its annual day On Saturdayin the Police auditorium, Gulshan Ground. In a statement issued here, the students of the school presented a bonanza of cultural items with great enthusiasm and fervor. Member Legislative Council and Former Chief Secretary Vijay Bakaya was the chief guest on the occasion. While, Academic Coordinator, Bela Charak, read out the annual report and expressed gratitude to parents for their co-operation to make the programme of the school an impressive one. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students. The toddlers of Pre-Primary presented a dance item which enthralled the audience presents there. The school students presented variety of items and skits which included Punjabi folk Dance, Rajesthani Dance, Natkhat Krishana's Raaslela etc. and were greatly appreciated by the large gathering of dignitaries, guests and parents present there. Meanwhile, Vijay Bakaya congratulated the students for their achievements in different academic and co-curricular activities and appreciated the efforts of the teachers in bringing out the latent talent. He remarked that one could an easily make out how much efforts the management and staff have put in to ensure the around development of these kids. He further said that the level of confidence, enthusiasm and the amount of knowledge exhibited by these kids is just amazing and appreciable. Bandhana was the Anchor to the proceedings of the occasion and Uma Katal, Manager, Rich Harvest School, welcomed the distinguished Guests, parents of the students and all the audience present there in her welcome address. The Function concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Rasvinder Kour, and 'Adieu' in celebration. Among others who were present on the occasion included Samar Dev Singh Charak, Ruchi Charak and others. |
