Jammu, Feb 7: Government MAM College in collaboration of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) today organized motivational lecture on voluntary Blood Donation under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Anita Sudan. According to press release, Professor and Head of Blood Transfusion department GMC, Dr. Vijay Sawhney, said that every drop of blood is precious and goes the long way in saving lives of patients. Meanwhile, he advised the NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers to donate blood regularly to save the ailing humanity. Professor Dr. Anita Sudan, Principal of the college said that youth of the nation are a force to reckon with and they should set an example before others. R.C Puri narrated a long history of long history of RED CROSS SOCIETY of helping patients in all types of situations weather in war or other times and motivated the students to donate blood voluntary. Professor Savita Jamwal presented formal vote of thanks while the others present on the occasion were Prof. Kiran Raina, Dr. S.C Sharma, Dr. Mazzamal Hussain, Dr. Laquiat Jaffari, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Prof. Neetu Singh and Prof. Sujat Khan. |
